The cause of Casey Calvert's sudden death has been found. According to autopsy reports, the Hawthorne Heights rocker died because of 'acute combined effects of opiate, citalopram and clonazepam intoxication'.
In the report made by the office of the chief medical examiner in Washington, D.C., it was stated that the death of the 25-year-old was accidental. Further, it was added that it was also generated by substance abuse.
The drugs involved in his death, citalopram and clonazepam, are prescription drugs. While citalopram which is known by its brand name, Celexa, is an antidepressant, clonazepam that is well-known as Klonopin and Rivotril is a drug used to treat seizure disorders and panic attacks.
Calvert was found lifeless on his band tour bus on November 24. At the time, the band was preparing for their performance at 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. As the part of their 'Wintour 2007'. Originally, his death was related to acute asthma.
