Smelling marijuana on her kids's hair and clothes, the ex-wife of Kevin Federline demanded that her kids are tested for drugs.
Britney Spears' custody battle is growing even as the 'Toxic' singer demands her children to be drug tested. According to Life & Style magazine, the troubled pop star believes that her former husband,
Kevin Federline, has exposed their children to marijuana and is determined to prove that by drug-testing the kids.
To the magazine, Spears' friend revealed, "Britney believes Kevin's been smoking pot in front of the kids. She says she can smell it in the boys' hair and on their clothes when she has her visitation with them." Her friend then said, "She's asked the court-appointed monitor and her lawyers if they can prove the kids have been exposed to environments in which drugs have been taken.
Further, it was reported that Spears was told to get a sample of her kids hair after they returned from Federline's place to be tested. A drug expert, Marty Brenner, told Life & Style that the sample can be used as a mean of drug testing stating, "Testing for secondhand marijuana use can be done using a lock of hair. The test must be done within a day or two after exposure. Secondhand smoke would definitely show up, and results usually come back in a couple of days."
It was also reported that Spears will call an emergency hearing to ask Commissioner Scott Gordon to make her ex do to drug tests as well. If proven that Federline had done as what is claimed by Spears, the man popular by the name of K-Fed could lose the custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.
