The 25-year-old performer is alleged to refuse paying an auto customizer further cost of his car's service.
Being accused to owe nearly $80,000 for the service of his 1999 Bentley Arnage,
Lil Wayne is facing a lawsuit from a California-based auto customizer, TheSmokingGun.com has revealed.
According to legal papers obtained by the site, businessman LeMarck deAndre alleged the rapper, real name Dwayne Carter, for breaching a contract between them for cost parts, shipment, and storage of the car. The 25-year-old was said to agree paying the man at least $120,000 to repair and refurbish his burgundy-colored vehicle in June 2004, but later only paid him $78,000 and refused to give any further payments since.
The Bentley initially was about to get shipped from northern California to Louisiana, home to Wayne and the music label he headed until last year, Cash Money Records. Following the suit, however, it is still being kept by deAndre, who further seeks "relief the court may deem proper" and legal fees aside from the $80,000 sum.
