The singer-turned-Idol judge was quoted to say she wants kids and will adopt if she can't have her own children.
Apparently loves the idea of nurturing children,
Paula Abdul is reportedly brewing plans to adopt a child with her restaurateur boyfriend J.T. Torregiani.
The 45-year-old insists she has not given up on motherhood despite her age and will adopt if she cannot get pregnant naturally.
"I want kids! If it doesn't happen naturally, I can always adopt," she told Ladies Home Journal magazine, which includes the remark in its upcoming issue.
In the meantime, the pop singer-turned-American Idol judge also took chance in the interview to slam down reports stating her latest romantic relationship is in trouble.
She said, "It's a good thing. I've experienced real loneliness, so I love knowing there's someone I can share the good and the not-so-good with."
