All ends well for Bruce Springsteen and the person suing him for the case of a pricey show horse. The rocker has settled a lawsuit placed by Olympic equestrian Todd Minikus, who alleged him to have breached a contract purchasing his star gelding, Pavarotti, for $850,000.
According to The Palm Beach Post, Springsteen got it settled last week by opting to pay out $200,000 to end the legal battle. Comments from representative for the 58-year-old performer, however, were not immediately available.
Springsteen was previously reported to buy the horse as a gift for her teenage daughter Jessica with intention to help her fledgling equestrian career. Already put down a $25,000
deposit, he nevertheless decided to pull out of the agreement after the animal
failed to "perform well."
