Matthew McConaughey Is a Father-to-Be

Another Hollywood star is set to be a parent. The "We Are Marshall" star Matthew McConaughey announced on his official website Tuesday, January 15, 2008 that he and girlfriend Camilla Alves are expecting a child together.

"My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together," he wrote. "It's 3 months growin in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far. We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child."

McConaughey and Alves, a Brazilian supermodel who is 15 years his junior, have been a Hollywood item for over a year. The actor previously was known to date fellow thespians Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, and Penelope Cruz, whom he got involved with in 2004 following her split from Tom Cruise.
