A digital camera belonged to Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz is missing and the actress fears that the images within will be exploited by someone by selling them to the tabloids.
Though it is unknown if the camera was either stolen out of her baggage or lost while she was traveling aboard recently, Cruz has already had her L.A. attorneys looked to ensure its contents won't be for public consumption.
According to a letter sent by law firm Lavely & Singer to various media outlets, any publication or other commercial use of the photos would be both a copyright violation and an invasion of the "Volver" star's privacy.
The missing pictures, as written further in the letter, depict "a variety of private images" of the 33-year-old with her family and friends, among other things. A police report has already been filed with all of the images contained in the camera considered to be stolen or lost property at this time.
