Mystery behind Gwyneth Paltrow's hospitalization has been revealed. The actress' chef pal Mario Batali told Usmagazine.com that she was treated at New York's Mount Sinai Hospital Monday (Jan. 14) due to "a little gastrointestinal situation."
"It's now been straightened out," Batali said at the grand opening of The Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas Thursday, January 17, 2008. "She's [doing] great."
Paltrow was learned to stay at the medical center for one night and checked out on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, which was confirmed by her representatives. Though so, no further statement made on the reason for her hospitalization, sparking speculations that she may carry her third child with husband Chris Martin.
The Oscar winner and Batali will next appear together alongside New York Times food columnist Mark Bittman in a 13-part TV series titled "Spain... on the Road Again", slated to be aired in Fall 2008.
