Pete Doherty of Babyshambles Is a Dad-to-Be? The romantic journey of Pete Doherty seems to have come into another scandal this time, if the claim proves to be true.

A twenty-year-old woman has surfaced with a statement pointing out she is three months pregnant with the Babyshambles frontman's child, due in June this year.

The alleged mother-to-be is revealed to be the goddaughter of renowned Scottish football manager Sir Alex Ferguson, Laura McLaughlin. She is also a straight A student who is on her way to enter prestigious Harvard University.

"The baby is Peter's. There is no doubt about that," McLaughlin said. "I was a virgin when I met Peter and when we had sex. He knows about the baby. I told him I was pregnant the moment I found out."

Doherty, former boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, however, has stated through his representative that he "doesn't know who this girl is." The 28-year-old has a four-year-old son named Astile with singer Lisa Moorish.
