Kiefer Sutherland Finally Set Free from Prison
At last has his freedom again. The actor was released from a detention center in Glendale, California on Monday morning (Jan. 21) after staying for 48 days behind bar.

According to jail spokesman John Balian, the "24" star made his leave at 12:05 A.M with taking home whatever personal belongings he originally brought with him.

"[Kiefer] looked like he was glad to be out," he said, adding that the 41-year-old was sporting a shirt and jeans when he left.

Sutherland served his entire jail sentence for a second DUI conviction and for violating probation and was placed alone in 8 by 10 foot cell. Balian noted him to be a good inmate who "never griped, never complained" and "never wanted preferential treatment from the get go."

The thespian, though, still has to complete his 8-month alcohol education program and attend weekly therapy sessions for six months as well as undergoes five years probation.
