Following the steps previously made by models Eva Herzigova and Adriana Karembeu,"Queen of Burlesque" Dita Von Teese has been appointed as the new face of Wonderbra, the iconic push-up bra brand.
"Dita understands how to make a woman feel sexy. She is a natural fit for the Wonderbra brand," a Wonderbra spokesperson stated.
In their cooperation, Von Teese and the lingerie firm are planning to launch in September a limited edition collection called "Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese" to the British and French markets. The designs will be in the style of the 1940s with the spirit of vintage underwear.
"I really hope that with this new range I can share my passion for sensual, wearable lingerie that will add a touch of glamor to people's everyday lives," Von Teese remarked.
The 35-year-old is reported to also take part in designing the limited edition collection and set to undertake photo shoot for the new collection in Paris, France in the next few weeks.
