The 27-year-old MC gets upset since his fans would rather download his new album for free than spending cash to purchase the real CD.
Not feeling appreciated by his fan-base, Ghostface Killah has threatened to take departure from Hip-hop industry upon learning that his fans prefer downloading his new album for free to purchasing the actual disc.
The rapper, real name Dennis Coles, is upset when his new LP "The Big Doe Rehab" only sold under 50,000 copies in its first week whereas he is aware that there are over 100,000 friends on his MySpace page, concluding that his fans would rather illegally download the album than spending cash on it.
The Staten Island, New York native, who is also a Wu-Tang Clan member, thus expressed his disappointment in a videotaped message he made from a tour stop in Norfolk, Virginia.
"I thought y'all motherf*ckers loved me man," he said. "You know I go all out for y'all man, and I love y'all man, but y'all n*ggas be hurtin' the kid, because y'all don't wanna go cop our CD, you feel me? Y'all rather download our sh*t, which is cool, whatever whatever, whatever."
He continued, "Y'all n*ggas gonna make me leave the game based on n*ggas doin' sh*t like that man. I thought y'all loved me, man. Go cop that CD man, even if you downloaded that sh*t man, go to the store and cop that man. If you really love your man."
