An active member of the organization, the star has posed in a bikini made from lettuce leaves for a new ad promoting vegetarianism.
Long known to be an active member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA),
Pamela Anderson has again willingly posed for the organization in her role as one of its Lettuce Ladies.
In a new ad supporting vegetarianism, the former "Baywatch" star is wearing a bikini made from lettuce leaves with a message read "Turn over new leaf, Try vegetarian."
"There's nothing sexier than a man who is kind to animals, and the easiest way to be kind to animals is to stop eating them," she campaigned as posted on PETA's Lettuce Ladies site, Lettuceladies.com.
A vegetarian since her early teens, Anderson has taken part in numerous campaigns for PETA, including posing naked with other protesters on a window display of the Stella McCartney boutique in London, England in 2006. She recently participated in PETA's "Pom Horrible Campaign", which called for the boycott of fruit-juice maker POM in response to the company's refusal to stop doing animal tests.
