The singer/songwriter is accusing accounting firm Executive Monetary Management to have ripped him off over $5 million during their business dealings together.
It's all about money for
Michael Bolton, apparently. The veteran pop singer has been reported to launch a lawsuit against his accountants, claiming they have stolen over $5 million from him and his companies.
The New York Post revealed Sunday, January 27, 2008 that defendant Executive Monetary Management allegedly took such amount from Bolton's associated companies during their business dealings together.
The accounting firm, however, turned out to have filed its own counter-suit in Manhattan Supreme Court, stating Bolton, whom it had worked with since 1999, has been a deadbeat and accumulated debts to the firm totaling $500,000, which date back to 2005.
