The actor is willing to gain weight for his upcoming role as an over-the-hill bar brawler in "The Grackle."

The Grackle" where he is set to play an over-the-hill bar brawler.
Though ready to let his fitness regime slide down a bit when he portrays the role, McConaughey, however, fears some fans will assume that he is slacking for real.
"My character... needs to be bull strong but meaty. Watching it happen will be fun," he said. "There should be some funny stories in the tabloids because I'll still have to go out and get my belly tan."
