The 28-year-old singer is planning to take the year off after undergoing a hectic schedule in 2007.
Undergoing a busy schedule last year which made her come to the point of exhaustion,
Norah Jones has revealed plan to take a hiatus from her singing career this whole year.
The "Don't Know Why" hit-maker released her latest LP "Not Too Late" in January 2007 and spent much of the year touring to promote the album. Surprisingly, she still managed to make her acting debut in Wong Kar Wai's "
My Blueberry Nights", which opened the year's Cannes Film Festival back in May.
Nevertheless, the heavy work schedule turned out to have left her in need of a break, the songstress admitted.
"I'm taking some time off. I worked a lot last year, just between the movie and my new record and the tour," she said.
