Details Emerged on Heath Ledger's Burial

Bit information about the burial service for Heath Ledger has been unveiled with the revelation about where and when the 28-year-old may be put into his eternal rest.

According to some reports, Ledger's interment may occur on Thursday (Jan. 31) or Friday (Feb. 01) in his native Perth, Australia. The New York Daily News, in the meantime, informed that the late actor will be laid in a $25,000 mahogany casket lined with cream-colored velvet. Other reports said that the 2006 Oscar nominee will also be remembered in a service at his elementary school.

Ledger's family previously held a private memorial service in Los Angeles last Saturday (Jan. 26), which was also attended by his former fiancee Michelle Williams and ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts. The "Brokeback Mountain" star was remembered as well on the same day at the G'Day USA: Australia Week 2008 black tie gala taking place at New York City's Waldorf Astoria.
