The "Complicated" hit-maker is reported to have filed an application with the U.S. patent and trademark office for a variety of toiletries products.
Set to follow the trails of other female music stars like

Hilary Duff,
Avril Lavigne is now working on plans to launch her own fragrance.
According to PerezHilton.com, the Canadian singer recently filed an application with
the U.S. patent and trademark office for various toiletries products. Among them are perfumery, after shave, bath oil, shower gel, body shampoo, hand lotion, and bath milks.
Lavigne, 23, recently was heavily rumored to be expecting a baby with husband Deryck Whibley of
Sum 41. Her representatives, however, have slammed down the pregnancy reports, stating "It's not true" to US Weekly.
