Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Barred from Performing in CanadaReceiving a surprising refusal, has been prohibited to carry out any gigs in Canada because their music is deemed "too violent", thereby forcing them to cancel their upcoming tour in the country.

The Cleveland-based rap group, best known for their high pace rapping style and harmonizing vocals, was initially slated to play five sold-out dates in Canada, but denied access to enter the country by customs officials on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.

Member Krayzie Bone has admitted to be extremely surprised by the move since his band held tour around Canada only last year, not to mention several others in the past, which went without incident.

"We never had a problem going over there, but all of the sudden, they talking the music is too violent," he told BallerStatus.com. "I'm like 'Man, that's crazy because we doing the same music we've done every time we came over there and nothing never happened.'"

He added, "It's unfortunate that our sold-out shows in Canada were canceled, because our fans stay loyal to us and we want to stay loyal to them."
