In Danger Level, Amy Winehouse Rushed to HospitalIn her battle to fight drug addiction, has encountered a stumbling block when she was rushed to hospital quietly on Wednesday night (January 30). The troubled singer reportedly suffered a dehydration and was put on a drip while in hospital.

Reports said that Winehouse was in dangerous level of dehydration while attempting to quit cold turkey from her drug addiction. The singer who was admitted to a private London rehab on January 24, was then smuggled under alias to Harley Street clinic which is only few yards away from where she received the treatment.

"Amy was looking very pale and thin. She looked ropey and exhausted. Let's hope she hasn't taken a turn for the worse," an insider told U.K.'s The Sun. Explaining what it means when a drug addict is put on a drip, the tabloid's doctor then said, "Going on a drip is a sign that things have got pretty bad. Crack is notoriously difficult to get off."

Earlier this week, Winehouse's father Mitch informed that the singer was "not well" but "doing OK" because she was getting a good treatment at the rehab. He had also banned his daughter from attending the 50th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where she receives 6 nominations, thinking that she is "not ready".
