Nearly a year after he was banned from getting in the U.K., Snoop Dogg has been granted a visa to the country, according to SixShot.com. The good news was revealed by the rapper himself on the Larry King Live Today air on CNN on February 1.
To the show host Larry King, the 36-year-old rapper said, "I've been accepted, a judge overturned it." He then added, "So everybody in the UK, Big Snoop Dogg will be back to give you what yall want." Apart from his comment, no further details has been shared about the lifting of the ban.
Last March, the rapper's request to enter U.K. has been denied reasoning that he wasn't thought as the right figure. At the time, he was forced to cancel scheduled gigs of his One Love Peace Tour. The banning came out after he was involved in an incident with British authority in Heathrow on April 26, 2006. In the incident, the rapper got violent at the officers on duty after he and his entourage were not allowed to enter British Airways' first class lounge.
