Spice Girls' Tour Cancellation Was Caused by Victoria Adams? On February 1, it was reported that the Spice Girls' reunion tour was canceled due to family and personal commitments. However, the latest news stated that it was Victoria Adams who are to be blamed for the cancellation. According to reports, the wife of soccer superstar David Beckham has confessed that she was the reason of famed British girl band's second split citing that she plans to quit the music biz for good.

To News of the World, the mother-of-three revealed that she only agreed to come back with the band for her kids. She said, "I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls because I didn't want to send out a confused message. The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once."

She further revealed that she quit the band because she wanted to pursue a career as a fashion designer. The 33-year-old singer explained, "I've been thinking about this for a long time. I'm not in the music industry any more. I'm in the fashion industry. I'm putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month. It's the last opportunity there will be to see the Spice Girls together."

Additionally, it was reported that Simon Fuller, the band's boss, is desperately trying to keep the tour going, though at the same time Adams has given up her dream of becoming a successful singer. An insider told News of the World, "He was desperate to keep the tour but Victoria feels she's achieved all she can in the music industry and acknowledges that any hopes she once had about being a successful singer in her own right are long gone."

Following the first Spice Girls split back in 2001, Adams has tried twice to have a solo career, but met only failures. She became the only member of the band who doesn't have a number one solo. However, she became known for her fashion sense.

On her passion of fashion, a source said, "Fashion is far more lucrative for her. She's actually considered a success. It gives her kudos in LA and she's making a lot of money." The Posh Spice, who has designed a range of sunglasses and her dvb-brand jeans, is predicted to pull in 15 million pounds in the next year.
