Teaser Pages of Kanye West's Upcoming Book Unveiled
Kanye West is giving his fans a treat of being the first to preview his book "Thank You and You're Welcome". On Monday (04.02.08), "The College Dropout" hitmaker let out the first look into his upcoming book on his blog at kanyeuniversecity.com by posting three teaser pages of it.

Co-written by "Think Think Think and Think Again: The Power of Ideas Designed to Spark Change" author J. Sakiya Sandifer, the teaser gives fans glimpses into the wit and wisdom of West. Among the compilation of "Kanye-isms" previewed was the "Get Use to Getting Used" page. In it, it can be read, "To most people, the saying "to use someone", carries a negative connotation. But, I don't see it that way. To 'mis', 'over' or 'ab' use someone is negative. To use is necessary. And if you can't be used, then you're useless."

The two other motivational pages pick up the theme of "Be Leery of the Free Gift Bag!" and "The Missing Banister Theory". In the "Be Leery", the acclaimed rapper tells the readers to be aware of people who make others feel like they owe those people something noting, "There are some people who try to put themselves into a position just so you'll owe them something. Their entire M.O. is: 'I did this for you, now you have to so something for me.'" Further, in the "Missing Banister", he focuses on the fact that one simple thing can change everything. In the page, he stresses, "When you're so focused on what you don't have...you won't have!"

Last year, West announced that he would be releasing a book which he described as "the creative, humorous and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating his path to success. It captures the same wit, playful irony and piercing insight found abundant in his lyrics." Futher, it was explained that the first 500 book sold will be "uncensored, without any five-second delay or media distortion" and will also signed by both author.
