The Mary Jane Watson in "Spider-Man" movie series, Kirsten Dunst, has joined the list of young celebrities to enter rehab. Star Magazine reported that the 25-year-old starlet has checked herself in at the famed Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah.
Reportedly, the Golden Globe-nominated actress entered the facility following a heavy partying at the Sundance Film Festival. A source revealed to People that the former girlfriend of actor Jake Gyllenhaal "is not doing well" and that people around her have been encouraging her to seek help. The source then added, "She has been partying hard for a while and I'm sure the Heath Ledger thing put people over the edge. She's been crying a lot lately, a lot built up. Everybody hits that bottom where you feel [so] scared that that one heavy night of partying can really wake you up. It's good she's getting herself help."
The co-star of Orlando Bloom in Cameron Crowe's romantic drama "Elizabethtown" was known to be a regular on the party scene in Los Angeles. She was recently spotted partying with Josh Hartnett at Hyde Lounge in Utah. It was said during her stay at the Sundance, Dunst was acting erratic. At one point, saying that she "wasn't feeling well", the "Marie Antoinette" star failed show up on her own Glamour magazine party.
Cirque Lodge was a rehab clinic famous around the top Hollywood celebrities. Last year, the place welcomed troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan for her addiction. The place also treated Bon Jovi's lead guitarist Richie Sambora as well as one of the famous Hollywood twin Mary-Kate Olsen. The latter celebrity entered the facility to deal with her weight issue. Less than a week ago, actress Eva Mendes has been reported to also seek help at the center for an alleged substance abuse.
