Leonardo DiCaprio to Bring Contractors to the Court is unhappy with the damage caused by a number of building contractors on his neighbors' house and for that he had filed a lawsuit. The actor, accompanied by his cousin Robert Hrtica who owned the Hollywood Hills house, filed legal papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on January 30.

They claim contractors and landscapers who built him a basketball court in 2004 and another contractor who worked on his neighbors', Joan and Robert Linclau, retaining wall should be responsible for the mess that reportedly had left the Linclaus' house almost collapsed.

Back in May 2007, the Linclaus had sued DiCaprio for the property damage which among some are the removal of plants and destabilization of pool and deck. In a counter attack, DiCaprio has stated that the problems may have caused by the Linclaus themselves when they illegally installed a railroad retaining wall.

In his court document, DiCaprio stated, "Seeking a scapegoat for the potential problems that they themselves created and the creation of a backyard for themselves free of charge, (the Linclaus) filed this lawsuit in an apparent attempt to extort the cost of construction of a new retaining wall."

Should the lawsuit brought up by DiCaprio against the constructors are through, then the lawsuit from the Lincalus against him will be void.
