David Beckham who modeled for Emporio Armani underwear had increased a 150 per cent sales for the brand after the ads were put up.
Once the black and white advertisements of
David Beckham lying spread eagled and only in skin tight underwear was launched, people came flocking on Emporio Armani stores. According to The Telegraph, the underwear sales went up 150 per cent just in the first day alone after the ads were placed.
The percentage was based on the sales at Selfridges that put up the larger than life posters of it. "David is still Britain's number one male icon," head of Selfridges' menswear department, David Walker Smith said. "The combination of a semi-naked David Beckham and a new style of Emporio Armani underwear is a golden match."
