Following the incident on Thursday night outside an L.A. club where actor Jesse Metcalfe got knocked out, a statement has been released by the rapper who launched his attack to him. Mams Taylor, a U.K. rapper, claimed that he was merely defending himself when the actor made the first 'move'.
Metcalfe, who played as Eva Longoria character's affair in "Desperate Housewives", was involved in a fight outside Boulevard 3 nightclub on Thursday, February 7 allegedly after flirting with Taylor's girlfriend, Tarryn Manning. Taylor reportedly launched several punches to Metcalfe and got chased by the actor before being stopped by security. The fight was caught on video by a bystander and posted on TMZ.com.
Commenting on the incident, Metcalfe told OK! Magazine, "Of course I'd rather the incident did not take place. But Jesse was arrogant, insulting and unnecessarily very rude to me as well as my girlfriend." He added, "I was also physically attacked first before I defended myself."
