Katharine McPhee has given away the photographs of her February 2 wedding to People and her first interview about the ceremony.
Katharine McPhee who married her producer boyfriend Nick Cokas on February 2 had given the exclusive wedding pics to People.com. Among the shots are McPhee taking the floor with her new hubby, the wedding kiss, cake cutting and her performance by the piano.
The ceremony took place at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, employing peach and white theme while its reception was held at Los Angeles' St. Viviana's. McPhee walked down the isle serenaded with music from bagpipes and escorted by her dad. Telling People on her nerves, McPhee said "I had been holding on to my dad, trying not to cry. Then the doors opened, and I was blown away."
"I was so emotional," McPhee said of the ceremony. "And moved by the whole thing." Fellow American Idol contestant,
Kellie Pickler, was asked to be the bridesmaid who was also moved by the ceremony, describing it as a "fairy tale." At one point, McPhee sang
