Just hours after she claimed her first Grammy at Los Angeles' Staples Center, Rihanna was involved in a car accident that left her unharmed. The Barbados singer was reportedly driving away from an after-Grammy party hosted by Def Jam when her vehicle was hit by another car.

Rihanna was ready to leave the party and hopped on the waiting car when a an unidentified car veered off the road and collided with hers. The singer's car was not in motion and in parked position during the incident. Her rep could confirm later on that nobody was injured during the minor collision.

"Rihanna was inside her car outside the Island Def Jam party when another vehicle rammed into it," the rep explained. "Fortunately no one was injured."

Earlier that night Rihanna enjoyed a spotlight when her name was called to be the winner of Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for her hit "Umbrella". She went up the stage with producer and featured artist in the song, Jay-Z, who teased her when she stumbled upon her acceptance speech. "She wants to thank for her first Grammy," Jay-Z slipped in.
