Good Charlotte's Rocker Ended Romatic Relationship With Model Fiancee

Being engaged just over a month probably is enough for Australian model Sophie Monk and her Good Charlotte rocker fiance, Benji Madden, to get over each other skins. On Tuesday (12.02.08) through Monk's agent Yoon Kim, the couple have announced that their romantic relationship is officially over.

According to Daily Telegraph, the Sydney-based agent let out the confirmation about the splitting exclusively to Sydney Confidential. On the statement, Kim said, "Sophie and Benji have officially split. The decision was mutual and they remain amicable. This will be my only statement regarding this matter." The splitting announcement ended speculations about the pair's deteriorating relationship after Monk was caught on camera without her engagement ring at several occasions in L.A.

The pair first meet on the set of a Good Charlotte video in mid-2006. Following that, they then began their romantic journey. On January 2008, it was reported that Madden had proposed to the 28-year-old model on Christmas Eve at her Gold Coast home.
