Despite Charlie Sheen's objection, Denise Richards is to go on with the reality show that includes her two daughters whom have been approved by the court to appear at the E! Program. The reality show which will debut this summer, chronicles Denise's everyday life that sees her juggling between motherhood and career.
Denise has now revealed her reason of jumping on the reality show, saying "I think there's been so many negative things about me in the press, most of it not true. I've kept quiet about many, many things, and I find the public believes what they hear. And if they're only hearing one side, that's what they're going to believe. So, it's time for people to see what I'm really like."
In fact, Denise admitted that she was approached by execs long time ago but she did not feel the time was right after the much-publicized divorce between her and Sheen.
Generally the show will expose Denise's private life as a sigle mother to her two daughters, Sam and Lola. Her father, Irv Richards will also be in the show as he moves in with them following the death of Denise's mom, Joni, from cancer last year.
"My mom and dad are the rock of my family, and I would not have gotten through my divorce if I did not have my mom and dad," Denise said. "It was very hard, it's very hard to hear those things and read those things, and I imagine it was hard for my parents. So in hindsight, I think I may have handled it in not the right way, so I want people to see what I'm really like and then judge for themselves if they believe these tabloid stories."
