Billy Ray Cyrus admitted that they made a mistake. Responding to the bad example critics, Billy Ray issued an apology.
To People, father Cyrus honestly revealed that they both made a mistake by forgetting to buckle up. He said, "We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seatbelts." He then noted the importance of wearing seatbelt saying, "Seatbelt safety is extremely important."
Few days earlier, it was reported that Customer Reports claimed that Miley and her father weren't a good role models as the "Hannah Montana" star and Billy Ray can be clearly seen in a scene of her new concert movie "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert" not wearing the required safety restraints. The scene was taken when the two were riding in the back seat of a Range Rover on their way to the concert tour's rehearsal.
