The supporting actress in 2004 comedy film "My Baby's Daddy" Bai Ling was reportedly caught shoplifting at Los Angeles International Airport. On Wednesday (13.02.08) afternoon at about 4:30 P.M., the Chinese-born actress has been arrested after an employee at the Crews of California gift shop in the LAX's Terminal 1 accused her of stealing two magazines and a pack of batteries worth in total of 16 dollars.
On the arrest, sergeant Jim Holcomb of Los Angeles Airport Police revealed that the actress was booked for misdemeanor shoplifting at the Pacific Station. The police said, "She was pointed out by somebody in the store has having shoplifted. She went to another gate and they basically confronted her and that was it." Noting that the 37-year-old actress was cooperative, Holcomb then explained that she has been released after she was agreeing to appear before a judge on March 5.
On the day of the incident, Ling, who has appeared at hit US television shows "Lost" and "Entourage", still managed to post message and pictures on via her BlackBerry. One of the pictures showed her standing outside the Southwest Airlines terminal at LAX, while the other pictured her sitting at the airport while waiting for a delayed flight.
