While love was in the air, Liam Gallagher took the opportunity to wed his girlfriend of eight years, Nicole Appleton. A report from gossip site Holy Moly said that the Oasis frontman and the All Saint member tied the knot secretly in Marylebone, London in the morning of Valentine's Day (February 14).
So secret was the ceremony that nobody including Liam's brother and band member Noel Gallagher do not know. After they held the ceremony, the newly-married couple reportedly celebrated the occasion in London's Landmark Hotel.
In the past, Liam had revealed his intention to marry Nicole whom he dated since 2000. However, the pair who have had a seven-year-old son together named Gene reportedly wanted to concentrate on raising their child first. Nicole previously said, "There's no pressure from our parents to get married but when we go to friends' weddings I think, 'I want to do this.' We're pretty much married anyway and I call him husband sometimes. We come as a unit - where he goes, our son Gene and I go. Having a child together is a bigger commitment than getting married anyway but we will do it."
Liam also has two other children from his other relationships. He has a ten year old daughter named Molly with singer Lisa Moorish, and Lennon, 8, with first wife Patsy Kensit.
