Bloody Johnny Knoxville Almost Lost His 'Balls' in Stunt

Johnny Knoxville was paying tribute to daredevil Evel Knievel when he got injured and left his pants soaked in blood.

"Jackass" star and trouble-seeker Johnny Knoxville was left bloody in his private part and almost lost his precious manhood. The actor was doing a daredevil stunt for MTV's show "Mat Hofman's Tribute to Evel Knievel" in Oklahoma when he injured himself that caused his pants soaking in his own blood.

Writing a post on his official blog at Jackassworld.com, Knoxville revealed a bit of the incident, "Don't want to give too much away because the tribute airs Feb 23rd on MTV, but let's just say before letting Travis Pastrana teach me how to do a backflip on a motorcycle I should have had him teach me to ride one first. Heh-heh...bad for me, good for our viewing audience at home." Knoxville also said that he almost lost his balls in the process.

Taken to hospital and recovering from the accident, Knoxville continued elaborating the impact saying, "Have to go now. Have to empty the piss bag on my leg that I have to wear for the next two weeks until my torn urethra heals."

Evel Knievel is a motorcycle daredevil who earned several entries in Guinness Book of World Records and had suffered broken bones plus other injuries throughout his career. He died in November 2007 after years of suffering diabetes and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
