After signing Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon as the host of BRIT Awards tonight (February 20), organizers are having a slight doubt on what may come out at the actual event. The bosses are afraid that due to his often unpredictable behavior, Ozzy would strip naked on the stage.
Daily Star tabloid reported that the rocker threatened to take off the clothes in front of the viewers to create chaos. And for that, the bosses hired a team of bouncers who will be on alert in the sides of the stage, just case it gets too raunchy. They were strictly ordered to "crack down hard" if it indeed happens.
Sharon explained during interview on Radio 1 that her husband can go to the extremes, "He goes around sleep walking looking for food. You should ask one of our helpers, because he has to put this little thing on Ozzy's door when he's staying in hotel rooms, and it rings in his room because otherwise Ozzy goes wandering around the hotel. It's like a baby alarm so he can hear when Ozzy is marching around."
A source inside the awards said, "All the organisers are chewing their fingernails because of Ozzy's appearance. They know how unpredictable he is anyway but he has a real devious streak and the minute he realises he will be the centre of attention you just know he'll want to play up."
The show will be broadcast live by ITV1 from London's Earl Court at 8 P.M. with 30 seconds delay.
