The court battle between the rehab darling and the busboy who claimed to be hit by her car in 2005 finally came to an end on Friday (22.02.08) as the actress settled the lawsuit.

Lindsay Lohan has finally come to an end. According to press release, the "
Mean Girls" star has settled the lawsuit on Friday (22.02.08).
On the same day, People magazine confirmed the report by noting that the papers filled by Ortega read, "This entire case has been settled". Though the terms of the settlement remain confidential, it was reported that the busboy claiming that Lohan was drunk at the time she hit his van with her car in October 2005 had asked for $200,000 in damages.
Back in June 2007, Ortega filed a lawsuit against the actress citing that Lohan has been consuming alcohol at the Ivy restaurant in West Lost Angeles before crashing her Mercedes-Benz into his van on Robertson Boulevard in October 2005. Following the suit, Lohan hit back with a countesuit stating that a California Highway Patrol report suggest that the crash happens because Ortega made an illegal U-turn.
