Busted: J. Holiday and His Marijuana

Busted: J. Holiday and His Marijuana New comer in Hip-Hop, J. Holiday, has adapted too well to the dark side that he was busted and arrested for drug possession. The "Bed" singer was caught in drug possession on Thursday, February 21 in Salisbury, Maryland.

The singer whose real name is Nahum Grymes, was pulled over by police on Route 50 in Maryland because he was speeding above the limit. The two officers, according to local news channel, WMDT47, spotted Holiday's vehicle "driving in tandem" with another "at a high rate of speed."

Sgt. Frank Russo who was on duty said that the officers detected strong marijuana smell coming out of the car post the arrest. The officers then were prompted to search his vehicle whereby it was found an amount of marijuana in the center console of the singer's vehicle.

Holiday and his fellow passenger, George Jackson were escorted to the police station and are facing drug possession charges. The other car that was in the tail of Holiday's was driven by Rolland Wesley and he too faces a charge, which is traffic-related not drugs.

The singer was due to begin a concert today (February 25) with Trey Songz to promote his debut album "Back of My Lac" but no news yet on whether he has been bailed and will continue with the concert.
