Receiving Best Newcomer prize at the 8th annual Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards in London on Sunday (24.02.08) night, the "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe got the surprise of his life as the male host planted a kiss on his lips. According to reports, the 18-year-old British actor got the passionate kiss from the show host named James Corden when he got up to the podium to collect the award.
Though at first the actor was taken aback by the surprising act, it was said that the good-humoured actor then went along with the situation. The video capturing the moment shows clearly that the "Equus" star that has just been romantically linked to his "Harry Potter" co-star Emma Watson even put his arm around Corden's neck.
