Following the footsteps of many Hollywood new mothers, Nicole Richie has introduced her newborn daughter to the world through a U.S. magazine. On the next issue of People magazine set to hit the newsstands on Friday (29.02.08), Harlow Winter Kate Madden, the six weeks old daughter of Richie and her boyfriend Joel Madden grazed the cover of the magazine in the arms of her proud mother.
In the magazine's special issue, the happy couple also talked about parenthood and how it has changed their lives. To the magazine, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie revealed, "It's almost like I don't even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose." Further, her Good Charlotte boyfriend added, "Having a baby is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me, and to us. We are in love and are really happy."
Richie and Madden welcomed their first baby on Friday (11.01.08) evening at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Their baby daughter was born a day before pop singer Christina Aguilera gave birth to her first son Max Liron Bratman at the same hospital.
Prior to the exposure of baby Harlow, People has paid $1.5 million for Aguilera's exclusive family photos, which were publicized almost two weeks ago on February 15. Further, it has been reported that People has also obtained the exclusive photos' rights for Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony's newborn twins after paying as much as $6 million.
