Hayden Panettiere reveals the reason she decided to split with TV star Stephen Coletti, saying that she was a difficult girlfriend.
Hayden Panettiere lived up to her fans dream when she dated Laguna Beach star Stephen Coletti but their split in September last year left many questioned. The indestructible cheerleader in "Heroes" finally reveals the real reason why the relationship did not work out.
Panettiere insisted that their split was amicable and that she was at that time very much in need to have personal time alone. Telling Seventeen magazine Panettiere explained, "I just knew I wanted to breathe. I wanted to be single at the time. It just hit me like a ton of bricks - this is the time I need to be with myself."

Milo Ventimiglia continued that she is not one easy girl to be dated. She said, "It takes such a secure person to be with someone like me; it takes so much confidence, it takes so much trust."
