Like her own pregnancy, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears was born out of plan.
Just like her pregnancy,
Jamie Lynn Spears herself was not on the plan. The youngest sibling in the Spears clan who is pregnant with her first child at the age of sixteen, is said to be the product of an accidental pregnancy that required a paternity test.
The family's relative, William Spears who is also the uncle of
Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn, revealed that the girls' dad Jamie Spears, asked for a paternity test from his wife Lynne to make sure that he was the biological father of Jamie Lynn. According to William, Jamie had a vasectomy after Lynne gave birth to Britney in 1981 but Lynne came up with a seed in her womb after the operation that should have stopped the production of sperms.
William revealed, "Jamie got awfully mad. He said it couldn't be his" and said that the "history is repeating itself" when Jamie Lynn announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Casey Aldridge in December 2007. After the DNA test was conducted, it was proven scientifically that Jamie Lynn was indeed the couple's child. "That's why they named her Jamie Lynn, to kind of make the point that she was from both of them," William added.
