Though admitting that he used Botox injection to enhance his look, the "American Idol" judge revealed that he was once insulted by the Viagra's offer to be its new face.
The famous "American Idol" judge
Simon Cowell has gotten a lucrative offer to be the new face of sex aid drugs Viagra. According to reports, the 48-year-old artist-and-repertoire executive has opened up that he has been asked to advertise the drugs for nearly $2 million last year (2007), but rejected claiming that it was an insult.
Reports claimed that the judge known for his blunt and often controversial criticisms revealed to British Glamour magazine that he has been offended by the proposition. "My agent rang me and said, 'You've been offered an incredibly big deal - it's to be the face of Viagra'," he recalled. "And I just said, 'Sorry, but that has to be a f**king insult.'"
Though claiming that he didn't need the erectile dysfunction drug, he admits that he indeed has regular Botox injections to maintain his look. On the matter, he confessed, "To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste. It works, you do it once a year - who cares. But I'd never dye my hair, although I know everyone thinks I do!"
