Troubled rocker Pete Doherty has just brought his name up to the surface again with a video post on his YouTube account. The former The Libertines singer has been frequently posting several clips either about himself or others that fascinate him, but the latest one intrigued a big question and suspicion.
Known to be a former crack addict who has been in and out of rehab, Doherty once again invites speculations that he is using again after a less than 15 seconds clip showed him shooting a white substance of what looks like crack. A chicken-shaped tube usually used for smoking pot is seen billowing with smoke, but the clip was cut short before a man, allegedly Doherty, was about to take a 'sip' from the chicken's rear end.
Doherty, who ironically is named Hero of the Year at NME Awards earlier last month, often collides with trouble and amazes fans with surprises. Just last week on Wednesday, the guitarist who is the ex of Kate Moss, took the stage with bloodied nose but blamed it on "kitten scratch". He had previously been known to force a kitten to smoke crack. Dinger, the name of the cat, was pictured with of what looks like a small crack pipe that was held by Doherty.
In November last year, Doherty has also been filmed snorting what appears to be cocaine just days after vowing to return to rehab. A friend of him said at that time, "He just can't stop using. He has been warned about how much he is taking but he won't stop. He says he wants to get clean but his actions tell a different story."
