Anna Nicole Smith's 18-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, could be the richest baby in Hollywood as she was reported to possibly be inheriting a multimillion-dollar fortune. According to reports, the toddler has been named the sole heir to her late mother' estate by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff on Tuesday (04.03.08).
On the hearing, it was also stated that a trust for the little girl will be established and it will be supervised by Smith's companion Howard K. Stern as well as Dannielynn's father Larry Birkhead. On the judge's ruling, Stern's lawyer Bruce Ross let out, "We and Mr. Stern always believed that Anna Nicole never intended to disinherit her daughter. I'm pleased to say this chapter in the saga is closed."
The sole beneficiary ruling came almost five months after Stern, the executor of Smith's estate, filed court papers in Superior Court on October 18, 2007 trying to clarify Smith's intentions in her will which was drafted in July 2001, five years before Dannielynn's September 2006 birth. With the judge's pronouncement, it means that Dannielynn is up to inherit the estate of Smiths former husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall, who left much of his fortune to Smith. Marshall's will has since being contested by his family.
