Kid Rock Making Amend to Waffle House That He Messed is making amend to the venue that has been infamous because of his act. Rock is returning to the Waffle House restaurant in Duluth, Georgia where he was arrested for battery the end of last last year to sign autographs which proceeds will go to charity.

The ex-husband of will greet fans and give out autographs at the restaurant today, March 11 at 2 P.M. just before he takes on a concert at the nearby Gwinnett Area. The fundraising event will benefit Nicholas House, a local homeless shelter charity. "For a while now, we've been working with Kid Rock's management to try and turn a negative into a positive," Waffle House spokesperson Pat Warner said. "We're hoping to raise some money for a worthwhile charity."

The rocker and his five entourage were dragged to the police station following a misdemeanor battery incident. They were dining when Rock became involved in a brawl with a male customer. A witness described the incident, "The male customer recognized a woman with the party and exchanged words with her. It escalated to a physical altercation between Kid Rock and that male customer, and moved outside to the parking lot. At one point the customer punched out a restaurant window."

Rock plead not guilty in a DeKalb County State Court on March 3 this year.
