Hospitalized for Suicide Fear, 'Jackass' Star Steve-O Charged With Felony

The extreme dare-devil has been reported to be admitted to hospital four days before he was charged with cocaine possession on Thursday (13.03.08) stemming from his March 3 arrest.

The life of the "Jackass" star Steve-O is reportedly spiraling down fast. MTV News reported that in the past 24 hours (13.03.08), the dare-devil performer has been reported to be hospitalized because of his recent erratic behavior and been charged with felony possession of cocaine by the L.A. County District Attorney which is stemming from his March 3 arrest.

Reportedly, the 33-year-old stuntman has been admitted to the Thalians Mental Health Center at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last Sunday (09.03.08) for observation and would probably stay there for 14 days. His friends further revealed that the British-born Steve-O was brought there by his fellow "Jackass" friends Johnny Knoxville and Dimitry Elyaschevich due to his recent erratic behavior.

According to MTV, on the day he was hospitalized, the man whose real name is Stephen Gilchrist Glover was planning to execute a stunt where he would take a 25-foot fall onto concrete and also wrote an e-mail message to his friends about the stunt. The message read, "50 Cent got shot nine times at once and survived, and he is forever a legend. I betcha I break more than nine bones if nobody comes with something to catch me, because, mark my words, I will fall!" In other e-mail messages, he repeatedly stated, "I'm ready to f---ing die."

Meanwhile, the cocaine possession charges which was dropped on Thursday (13.03.08) was the result of his March 3 arrest. At the time, he initially was arrested by Los Angeles Police at his apartment in Hollywood, California at approximately 5:00 A.M. after a neighbor made a citizen arrest citing that Steve-O has been vandalizing his property. When the police came to his apartment, the police further found the drugs there and thus booked him for vandalism and possession of a controlled substance.
