Commenting on the conflicting rumors about his early release on Sunday, March 9, rapper The Game has released a statement on Thursday, March 13, stating that he has been let out from jail. On his statement though, he explained that he has been released early from the prison. He also apologized from the confusion caused by the conflicting news.
In his statement, the hit maker of "The Documentary" said, "I apologize for the conflicting news on my release, but due to the sensitive negotiations on this matter I felt it appropriate not to give an exact date on my release." Though didn't explain about the reason of his dismissal, he further expressed his gratitude stating, "I am truly grateful to my attorney, family and management for doing a great job in this respect." Additionally, the rapper thanked his fans who gave him supports throughout the ordeal.
On the occasion, the Geffen Records' rapper also added that he has had a planning for his music career. He confessed, "Upon my release, I went directly to the studio with producers Cool & Dre and recorded several records, including my street record 'Big Dreams.'" Earlier, L.A. County sheriff's records and statement from his manager suggested that the rapper was released due to overcrowding in the Los Angeles jail system. However, his attorney Shawn Chapman Holley dismissed the reports of him being freed stating that he will be moved to another correctional facility. Game was sentenced to 60-days behind bars as a result of his May 2007 arrest for which he was charged with the possession of firearm.
