Amy Winehouse's Grammy Dress Sold More Than 3 Thousands Dollars
The soul star has successfully sold her Grammy dress. The "You Know I'm No Good" singer got $3,900 for the black dress she worn during her satellite performance at the 50th Grammy Awards' ceremony in Los Angeles. According to The Sun, her dress has been bought by a London buyer, Higghe, who has eliminated fifty-seven other bids.

Winehouse's dress is made by Dolce and Gabbana. In describing the dress, eBay noted, "In black with ruffles, the dress is approximately a size 10, 31 inches in length with a 26in waist." The dress was auctioned to raise funds for breast cancer charity, The Lavender Trust.

Unfortunately, Winehouse failed to attend the prestigious Los Angeles ceremony because of her visa problems. However, the "Rehab" hit maker proved her domination and luckily picked up five trophies. She is the winner for the best new artist, best female pop vocal performance for "Rehab" and best pop vocal album for her album "Back to Black". Aside from that, two most coveted categories at the event, Record of the Year and Song of the Year, has also been won by her.

Winehouse started her success in singing when she launched her debut album "Frank". The album, which has been released on October 20, 2003, was produced mainly by Salam Remi. In 2004, the album has entered the upper levels of the UK album chart and she was also nominated for Brit Awards in the categories of "British Female Solo Artist" and "British Urban Act".
