Though earlier reports stated that 'Ray of Light' singer and Guy Richie were splitting, the pop star legend's publicist let out statement denying the speculations
As the speculations concerning the breaking down of
Madonna's marriage to director husband Guy Richie surfaced, the attempt to tone down the rumors came from a friendly side. People reported that the representative to the pop star singer who has just been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall has slammed down the marriage-on-the-rock reports.
In her statement made on Monday (17.03.08), Liz Rosenberg, the 'Material Girl' spokeswoman insisted that the couple doesn't have any marital problems, in fact they remain happy with their union. "I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married," stressed Rosenberg. Further, she explained that Madonna and her husband wasn't able to be together for a while back because they had different work commitments that kept them apart.
"Though they were in different countries recently - Madonna in the U.S. doing promotion for her upcoming album Hard Candy and Guy finishing up post production on his new film RocknRolla, as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England - the family are joyfully back together at home in London," explained the longtime publicist. "All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."
Earlier, it was reported that Madonna were planning to split from the director of "Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels" after seven-year of marriage. The splitting speculations sparked due to Richie's absence at New York's Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony on March 10 in which Madonna was being inducted. Adding to the separation rumors, it was said that that the pair has planned to head to different path as Madonna will take their children to the U.S., while Richie stays in London, U.K.
